EduWorld International ( a trading name of EduWorld Agency Limited) is an
International Education, Training & Recruitment Agency and also a student
recruitment agency focusing on recruiting and guiding students towards
appropriate educational opportunities at universities, colleges, schools &
training institutes around the world. The company offers targeted marketing
and promotional actions for international students’ recruitment and offers
counseling to students wishing to study abroad, through workshops and
seminars, as well as preparation and completion of the necessary application
materials.
The company also provides market advisory services to institutions of higher
education around the globe. It also engages in establishing educational
institutions, providing professional services on Academic Brief and Course
Contents Formulation & Restructuring based on market relevant courses.
In addition to International Education Services, the company as it is widely
known offers a wide range of executive education and training services
through its subsidiary: Exclusive Learning International – an education and
human development initiative.
Furthermore, the company also undertakes the services of jobs recruitment
for companies overseas and locally, assists in relocation and securing
working permits/visas for its clients
The company is also involved in travels & tourism services for its
individual clients and corporate clients.
Profile
Began in 2001 as a registered business name (April 2001) with a registered
number: PH/057,829 at the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria in the city of Port Harcourt with a registered business
address at #4 Graceland Avenue, off Tombia Street, GRA, Port Harcourt,
Rivers State of Nigeria, EduWorld International has stood the test of times
to become one of the leading education, training & recruitment agencies in
Nigeria and in the continent of Africa.
EduWorld International launched out with seminars and presentations and
providing unrivaled tutorial classes/lectures for students intending to sit
for foreign or international exams/tests and also counseling prospective
students/candidates for studies abroad.
With staff strength of 5 at its inception (February 2001), the agency staff
strength has grown more than this number since then. During that year 2001,
EduWorld International organized and held series of seminars in some major
cities in Nigeria, which include: Port Harcourt, Lagos, Kaduna, Enugu,
Calabar, Yenagoa (Bayelsa), Owerri, Aba, Warri and Ibadan. In the year 2002,
two major seminars that attracted about 900 participants were held in Port
Harcourt-Nigeria and Accra-Ghana. The first, which recorded a little above
500 participants in a single attendance at the Diete-Spiff Sports Complex
(Civic Centre), Port Harcourt City, Nigeria on February 23, 2003, the agency
was opportuned to have a representative from Inti College Sarawak in the
person of Mr. Png Tchio Nam of the International Marketing Office of the
same college. He was a major speaker at the seminar.
Another seminar was held at the University of Ghana, Legon Campus- Accra in
August 2002, which attracted over 350 participants. The aftermath of these
seminars led to a huge number of enquiries/queries from across the following
countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Benin Republic, Togo and South Africa about
admissions and schooling abroad. These queries came in four ways: *walk-in
enquiries, telephone calls, emails, and paper mails*.
As a result of these queries, EduWorld International saw the need to
establish more working relationships with prestigious colleges and
universities abroad where recruitment and placement of students/candidates
into foreign institutions will be made with ease or hassle-free. Of course,
this move was successful and since then the agency has rendered unraveled
services to its registered students/candidates from across Nigeria and in
some African countries through its contact offices and persons in Ghana and
other African countries.
EduWorld International first signed agreement of representative with Inti
College Sarawak in east Malaysia in the year 2002 and has since
establishment of working relationships with various colleges, Universities
and International Organizations globally. EduWorld International through its
offices and contact persons in Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries
has placed (from May 2002 to January 2006) about 100(One hundred) African
Students (including Nigerians) who are presently studying at the various
institutions abroad in various academic programs.
In June 2003, EduWorld International in the first and second quarters of the
year 2003 signed working relationships in the form of official
representative services with prestigious universities that offer world-class
education in Australia, New Zealand, London (UK) and US. These world-class
education institutions are: the University of Wollongong (Australia),
Lincoln University (New Zealand), and the American InterContinental
University (London-UK), the agreement also covers the American
InterContinental University in Florida, California and Georgia (all three
campuses in the USA).
In the same June 2003, EduWorld International held seminars in Abuja
Sheraton Hotel, another at the Diete Spiff Sports Complex, Port- Harcourt-
Rivers State, one at the Auditorium of Management House, Victoria Island
–Lagos and another at the University of Lagos conference/meeting Room
In August 4, 2003, EduWorld International signed an agreement with a
world-class education and training institution based in Texas, USA: The
Texas International Education Consortium- An Association of 32 Texas Public
Universities for International Education. The Texas International Education
Consortium (TIEC) offers the “Texas Intensive Program”, the “University
Express” program and other training program for the business, corporate and
diplomatic world.
In April 15, 2004, EduWorld International signed an exclusive Agreement with
the American Global Education Group (AGEG)-formerly, Educational Services
International (ESI) L.C. based in HOUSTON (Humble), in Texas-USA and having
a Malaysian business office in Kuala Lumpur. The American Global Education
Group is a consortium of various higher education institutions that
emphasize on providing quality and affordable American and International
Higher Education Programs. The AGEG is involved in providing for and
assisting in establishing quality American, Canadian, British, Chinese and
International Educational opportunities and programs to institutions and
students globally.
EduWorld International, in order to meet the demands from students/parents
in Nigeria and in some other African countries have establishing contact
offices and working relationships with more institutions abroad where
quality and affordable world-class education is offered. To this effect, two
offices were established: one at Ikeja-Lagos in Nigeria and one temporarily
at the office of Dr. Louis Doamerkpor of the Department of Chemistry,
University of Ghana, Legon campus-Accra.
After the establishment of EduWorld International office at Ikeja in
December 2, 2002, which was the date of the official business start date of
our Ikeja Office,
EduWorld International organized and held a three-day seminar at its Ikeja-Lagos
office in February 2003. This also led to more students/parents becoming
interested in the services of the Agency here in Lagos and also those who
came from outside Lagos to attend the seminar.
Besides this, EduWorld International also signed a working/partnership
relationship with a UK (United Kingdom) based education and training
firm-Overseas Personal Development Services (OPDS). OPDS is presently
representing more than 40 (forty) traditional British Universities, Colleges
and Schools in the UK. With OPDS, EDUWORLD will now place students from
Africa directly into British institutions in the UK institutions in the UK.

In order to expand our operations, EduWorld International registration
status was upgraded from a business name to a registered private limited
liability company with the corporate Affairs Commission –Abuja (Nigeria) in
May 2002 with a Registration Number: RC.449, 567. The Agency staff strength
then rose to 8 (eight as at January 2005). 70% of the administrative and
management staffs are having university degrees from bachelor’s to master’s
qualifications and also few with PhDs, ND
(National Diploma) and advanced high school qualifications spanning across
the various fields of academics.
In January 1, 2004, EduWorld International signed an Agreement to represent
Lambton College, Ontario in Canada to act as a Recruitment Representative.
In April 15, 2004, EduWorld International signed an exclusive Agreement with

In June 14, 2004, EduWorld International signed an agreement of cooperation
with the Mediterranean University of Science & Technology (M.U.S.T.),
Valencia city in Spain to represent M.U.S.T. in Students’ Recruitment.
In December 2004, EduWorld International signed a student Recruitment
Services Agreement with Curtin University of Technology Sarawak Campus
Malaysia-owned by Curtin (Malaysia) Sdn, Bhd. Curtin University of
Technology Sarawak Campus a campus of Curtin University of Technology in
Perth, Western Australia.
In January 2005, EduWorld International signed an Agreement with Lemania
Group of Schools in Switzerland, to represent and recruit students for study
at any of the Lemania Group of Schools in Switzerland.
In March 5, 2005, EduWorld International signed an Agreement with Institute
d’ Administration des Entreprises, a public graduate school of the
University Paul Cézanne in France to recruit students for postgraduate
studies at the said graduate school.
In July 2005, EduWorld International signed an Agreement with Taylor’s
College in Malaysia to recruit students at the said college.
In August 3, 2005 EduWorld International signed an agency agreement with
Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.
In December 30, 2005 EduWorld International signed an agency agreement with
Sheltons College International, Singapore.
In May 28, 2006 EduWorld International signed an exclusive agency agreement
with Trinity College Seychelles - a UK Commonwealth nation.
In June 1, 2006, EduWorld International signed an agreement with Nilai
International College in Malaysia.
In June 28 2006, EduWorld International an agreement with London School of
Management, London, United Kingdom.
EduWorld International also within February 2006 and June 2006 did
established working relationships with various schools in the United Kingdom
such as:

In August 24, 2006, EduWorld International signed An Education Partnership
Programme Agreement with NCC Education, Manchester, United Kingdom to
recruit students for its various universities’ distance learning programmes
in Nigeria. The universities are mostly UK based universities.
In September 12, 2006, EduWorld International signed an agreement with
Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.
In September 20, 2006, EduWorld International signed an agreement with
Westminster International College, Malaysia.
In September 29, 2006, EduWorld International signed an agreement with the
Institute of Technology Australia (IOTA) to coordinate its distance learning
program in Nigeria.
In November 1, 2006, EduWorld International signed an agreement with The
International Management Institute, Belgium.
In March, 2007, EduWorld International signed an agreement with South London
College, London United Kingdom.
In April 1, 2007, EduWorld International signed an agreement with Auston
Institute of Technology and Management, Singapore.
In April 2007, EduWorld International began recruiting students for studies
at Malaspina University-College, British Columbia, Canada.
In April 2007, EduWorld International opened discussions with
PSB Academy (A member of TUV SUD Group), Singapore to recruit students for
studies.
EduWorld International will continue to form alliance with offshore and
onshore institutions, develop more links with a wider range of establishment
with world-class institutions, colleges, universities, schools and corporate
